How Overdit It! got started

Overdid it! was founded by Patrick and Julie Foster in December 2007. Overdid it! was started because of Julie's firm belief that there was a large portion of the community that was not getting the care it needed when it came to massage.

Julie graduated with her certificate in massage therapy in September 2000 from career care institute in Lancaster, California. From the time she finished her internship, she came into contact with a lot of people who expressed they could not afford the luxurious massages from day spas nor could they afford to go to chiropractors or physical therapy if they were in discomfort or in pain. In addition to these complaints, Julie found there was a large population of people who would not go for a massage because they were too self-conscience or they just simply did not want to be touched. Another group of people that Julie felt were not getting care, were the Youth Athletes.

All of Julie and Patrick's children played sports and there wasn't a place to get help for the kids' discomfort from the "first week of practice" aches and pains except to a chiropractor. And lastly, while massaging her terminally ill--cancer stricken stepfather, Julie realized the absolute necessity for the human touch for those people heroically facing the end of their lives. She felt that all of these groups of people would benefit from massage and were not getting the care they needed at a price they could afford. Having seen and heard the words of the people, julie's idea for Overdid it! was born. It was an idea for a place where people could afford to get massages often; for fun or for relief, in a family-friendly atmosphere shy of medical or status intimidation.

We welcome you and your families to a few minutes time-out to rest and relax. Remember, we are a gift shop too. and we have gift items for everyone young to gracefully matured, male or female, we offer military/family discount packages and gift cards.
